A small hotel, a long history.
For three generations, our family has welcomed travellers to Agra. Pilgrims, students, honeymooners, lone wanderers, backpackers — they have all sat at our tables, and traded stories over warm chapatis.
Hotel Ajay International is a family-run home in the heart of Agra. We sit just 200 metres from the Agra Fort railway station and a short rickshaw ride from the Taj Mahal. The locality is also known as the Vrindavan of Agra. We are not a chain. We are not a tower. We are a clean, cheerful place to lay your head between adventures.
Our 24-hour front desk is staffed by people we trust — many of whom have been with us for decades. Our kitchen serves simple, hearty Indian dishes throughout the day; our front desk is happy to call you a cab, recommend a guide for the Taj, or tell you where to find the best petha in the city.
We've kept things modest on purpose. Our rates are fair, our rooms are comfortable, and our hospitality is genuine. If you're looking for a marble lobby and a doorman, there are plenty of options nearby. If you'd like to be looked after by a family who knows Agra inside and out — please come stay with us.
